Know what actually converts

Install in minutes, track only what you mark, and read results without a data team.

Tracked links carry a click ID that follows the visitor to the conversion, so you see which link, source and campaign earned it.

Send conversions from your affiliate network or Stripe to one URL. Repeated transaction IDs are ignored, so retries are safe.

Fire a URL when an event happens, with the click ID, visitor ID and event name filled in for you.

Pick the events that make up your funnel and see where visitors drop off, from the first page to the purchase.

Visitors keep their variant across visits and devices, the split balances itself, and the dashboard warns you when it looks broken.

Events go to your own domain, so there is no third-party script for ad blockers to catch. About 9 KB with no dependencies.

Up and running in three steps

01

Create a project

Open Analytics and create a project. Its Setup page shows your project key and snippets with the key already filled in.

02

Add the tracker

Paste one script tag on any site, including WordPress, Webflow, Shopify and Framer.

03

Mark what matters

Tag a button and the event shows up in your dashboard within seconds. Nothing is tracked unless you mark it.

How a click becomes a sale

  1. 01

    They click

A tracked link sends the visitor to your site with a click ID on the URL.

  2. 02

    They arrive

The tracker saves the click ID in a first-party cookie and gives the visitor an ID of their own.

  3. 03

    They sign up

Call identify with their email so the same person is recognised on their phone and their laptop.

  4. 04

    The sale lands

Your network or Stripe sends a postback with the visitor or click ID, and AffRev ties the sale to the click that started it.

Build your postback URL

Paste this into your affiliate network, or call it from your Stripe webhook.

Project key

Find it on your project's Setup page.

Event name

What the conversion is called in your dashboard. Defaults to conversion.

Identify the visitor by

Your network's placeholder for the click ID

Use whatever your network or webhook fills in with the ID.

Transaction ID placeholder (optional)

Repeats of the same transaction ID are ignored, so retries are safe. Clear the box to leave it out.

Your postback URL

https://affrev.com/api/fa/inbound?pid=YOUR_PROJECT_KEY&event=purchase&cid={click_id}&tid={transaction_id}&secret=YOUR_INBOUND_SECRET

The real URL, with your secret already filled in, is on your project's Setup page. Keep the secret on your server and never put it in browser code.

The tracker has to have seen the visitor first. If the ID doesn't match anyone it has seen, nothing is recorded.
